“This was our first stop on arrival in Sri Lanka and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the food was gorgeous and the setting by the lake was idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have high ceilings and views of the lake. Altogether a great start to our holiday.”

“Nice location near the airport for a quick stay. Airport pickup was provided with a midnight arrival. Awoke to lush gardens in a very quiet area of town. The staff was very help in arranging a tour. Nalaka setup tuktuks and boat tour. He also shared some tips on surroundings cities. Breakfast and dinner options were very good and promptly prepared. ”

The family room was super spacious and comfortable, the pool was fantastic, and the owner and staff super welcoming and accommodating, including booking us into a memorable lagoon tour that evening. The only piece of feedback is to more clearly indicate the Villa Name at airport pickup, as we had some slight challenges in finding our driver and had not yet sorted out our phone connections. “We had the most amazing last night of our trip here. It was so peaceful set amongst the paddy fields. It really was like being welcomed into a home but with all the privacy and amazing food that you would expect at such a good hotel. The bed was very comfortable and all the finishings in the bedroom/bathroom were excellent. We did a nice walk with the head of agriculture to learn more about the farms around the property. Definitely recommend!!!”
