"This was a fairly nice and pretty place to stay within walking distance of much of the town, although you will want to be cautious walking down the hill through some street hawkers and would never do so after dark. The staff was very excellent, friendly, and approachable. My only complaint, which led me to leave a night early, was that the WiFi went out for over a day and the owner was evidently unwilling to fix it and I needed WiFi for my work so I went elsewhere. "The property is an old home in the middle of a better part of Lilongwe. It’s much better than most places there. It’s in a relatively safe neighborhood. As long as you don’t have an “American hotel” expectation you’ll survive. Hotel is peaceful and quaint. Staff is nice. WiFi will drive you nuts though. "
