Perfect hotel if you are staying in Malcesine

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly. The location to the beach was perfect. The outside pool area was clean and comfortable. The hotel was a 10-15 minute walk to the main area of Malcesine along the beach path.

Overall the hotel was very nice. Beautiful views of the lake. Disappointed with the housekeeping. No milk, no water and no coffee in the room. All that was done on a daily basis was the cover tidied. Nothing replaced. However breakfast was ok and bar service very good. Pool loveky

Fantastic view of the lake, good friendly service..hotel is spacious and clean, has an excellent pool. Hotel needs some updating, our shower cubicle was in a poor state.

I did not like that reception did not speak English and we were not made aware in advance - had I not had a friend who spoke German we would have had no way to ask for taxi

Okay, but I’d go elsewhere

The hotel is okay but I would not return. The staff was nice and the breakfast buffet very well-stocked! The listing said we had a “balcony room” but we got a “terrace” instead (equivalent rooms, according to reception) which really meant a patio looking at mud and parked cars. No view. The room smelled slightly of urine, which could come from aging pipes as well as the fact that the hotel closes down half the year and is slow to air out.

Absolutely marvellous and friendly staff, the single room was comfortable, clean and quiet, If starting to look a little dated. shower always had hot water and great pressure. The terrace was nice to sit and relax with a view of the garden through mine was shared with other guests. Easy beautiful 10 minutes walk along the lake into the village. Breakfast was perfect for me though others may like a few more options. Good value for what I paid. Would happily stay again.

Alles war prima und hat für unseren Urlaub gereicht. Das Personal ist sehr nett dort und es ist soweit alles sauber. Das Frühstück war gut. Finde es hätte noch ein wenig mehr Salatauswahl geben können. Aber es gab ansonsten für jeden etwas. Auf der Homepage stand, das es nach Bedarf auch Essen im Restaurant gibt in der Koch über wiegend vegetarisch kocht und das es auch abends auch schon mal Unterhaltungsprogramm gibt. Das konnten wir in 9 Tagen leider nicht erleben. Der Pool ist sehr kalt, das ist zwar bei den Temperaturen erfrischend, aber auch sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Nicht zu toppen ist allerdings die Aussicht von der Lobby auf den Gardasee. Würde das Hotel aber jederzeit wieder buchen.

Walking distansen from Malcesine old town

Vi bodde två nätter för att få ordentligt med tid i Malcesine. Mycket fint ort. Stor central del med gamla staden och borgen som mittpunkt. Mycket stort utbud av restauranger. Vi tog en tur med linbanan till Monte Baldo ca 1700 m ö h. Rekommenderas verkligen. Storslagen utsikt över Lake Garda. Vi var där vid 9:30 och behövde inte vänta i kön. När vi åkte ner efter ca 2 timmar var det väldigt lång kö.

Mir hat der Aufenthalt für zwei Nächte gut gefallen. Ich hatte spontan gebucht. Preis Leistung fand ich super. Frühstück sehr gut. Lediglich den Kaffee fand ich am Buffet nicht so toll. An der Bar unter Tags waren alle Getränke wie auch Kaffees von den netten Damen schnell und gut zubereitet. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Tage gekommen, hier und dort könnte etwas erneuert / angestrichen werden. Alles in allem jedoch schöner Aufenthalt.

Herrliche Lage mitten in Olivenhainen. Traumhafter Blick auf die Berge. Sehr nah ins Zentrum und zum See. Älteres Ehepaar, das das Hotel führt, zieht die Wand- und Standuhren noch selbst auf. Schön nostalgisch.
