Great place to stay that's very convenient to the train station, restaurants, and shopping. Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. The breakfast was delicious and the historic cellar was a beautiful place to eat.
Amazing staff. Helpful with all our questions. When we had a phone lost in an Uber they were helpful by letting it be returned to the hotel as we had to leave for our next destination. They helped us in getting it shipped to the United States. Everyone in front desk and housekeeping were so pleasant and helpful!

Basic property in Malmo. Nothing special but nothing really bad about it either. The staff for the majority were just ok. Nothing outstanding except the lady who checked me out and she was just lovely. The rest of the staff had the typical Swedish attitude thinking they were better than everyone else.
Hotel with history, near places to see, guide they offer gives places that are under whelming generally except church, area between hotel & triangle nice, buildings, sites. Pickwick pub worth a visit, Popular square next to hotel with lively bars

Our go-to hotel in Malmö. Historic property, comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and close to city center and central station.
This is as far away as you can come from your standard streamlined corporate hotel. Very nice a friendly staff, great location in an old building with lots of character, if that's not your thing, please choose another more modern looking hotel. Breakfast was excellent and I would definitely come back in the future.
The hotel was awesome and so quaint. We enjoyed using the library as a meeting spot. We received an outstanding recommendation for dinner and the breakfast that the hotel provided was really amazing. Great place to stay.
Great hotel with lots of old charm. The deep bathtubs in some rooms are difficult for elderly and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible. My dad could manage the stairs and I switched rooms with him because my room had a walk-in shower. The drainage of the shower and tub in both rooms overflows onto the bathroom floor making it a swampy mess each time we used them, which was a bit slippery and difficult for for dad. The included breakfast in the vault and the always available coffee/tea/cookies in the library were excellent. I would stay here again definitely, but would not bring my mom who has mobility issues.
The property has a lot of history and is old and lots of stairs, but the breakfast was amazing, the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, options for anyone with special dietary restrictions, in fact a whole section with someone there to prepare it for you
Lovely friendly reception staff greeted us. A nice room (double de-luxe) in the courtyard area, spacious with tea/coffee making facility in the room, although the hotel has a lovely library where you can help yourself to tea/coffee at any time. Breakfast area was spacious and interesting with a wide variety of choice.
A very charming hotel with great staff and a lot of interesting history. The breakfast dining area was the most interesting I have ever seen. It dates back to 1307. The library was a great place to have some coffee and read more about the hotel or just relax. I was in Scandinavia for three weeks and stayed at seven different hotels. This was my favorite.

I love the customer service at this hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful all the time! However, the smells of the room was horrible, I was unable to sleep well during my last night due to the smells.
We enjoyed almost everything about our stay at Mayfair. It is a historic old hotel and the effort that has been put into preserving the history is admirable. At the same time, it is a clean and comfortable hotel. The staff was outstanding! Our only issue is that we had a room facing the front street and the noise….especially at night…was significant. If we return, we will ask for a room on the side of the hotel away from the street.
Charming hotel, great location, great service. On the other hand, my (single) room was very small, and the bathroom was tiny and there was no way of avoiding the shower flooding the floor.
Very unique hotel with old world charm. Getting to our room was always an adventure due to the maze of the corridors ;) Really nice breakfast included in the rate; they serve the best blueberry juice! Superb location in old town.
While getting to one’s room and back again can be a circuitous adventure and may require a trail of breadcrumbs, the history, comfort, and overall vibe make it worth it. With very reasonable parking in a garage right across the street and the ability to walk to the old town/ centrum in just steps, the Mayfair is a great point from which to enjoy your adventures in historic Malmo.
I truly liked the Mayfair Tunneln. My room # 154-was lovely. The only issue I had was that getting to my room and then back to the reception was a crazy journey : upstairs, then down stairs, then down corridors, upstairs, downstairs...etc etc. Carrying my luggage was not fun without an elevator that went to be where I needed to go. Not well layed out.
We arrived late and stayed only one night but the hotel is beautiful. Our room was clean and cosy and rather elegant. Breakfast was included in the price which was enjoyed, no complaints at all
May fair is an old fashioned property. The room was cute. Wonderful shower. Big breakfast. There is an old fashioned library room where there is free coffee all day. I like the charm. We stayed only one night and did not have time to explore as much as we wanted to.
