"Cons:
We didn't like the FAR walking because our key cards couldn't work at the side gate (we had to walk from Oceana B through a labyrinth including through various floors, to get to the lobby, then outside back towards Oceana B to get to the parking garage--my feet still ache 3 days later). There are no luggage trolleys nor anyone to help with luggage (at least, I didn't see any for the duration of our stay). The "double" beds are super tiny, making sleep and comfort very difficult (a double room can fit 2-3 people, not more). Our necks ached everyday from the uncomfortable, cheap pillows.
Pros:
Waterpark was great and almost worth all of the above cons. Centrally located, including near Kmart and various eateries. Free parking was nice (although I'd gladly pay for valet to avoid all that walking!). Staff are attentive when you need something (our shower adjuster was broken and they sent maintenance and had it fixed within 2 hours)."
"It is an older property, and it shows. But it was a decent price and centrally located. The beds were ok, the bathroom was good. The cafe in the lobby seemed to never be open. The restaurant downstairs was open but i didnt eat there. The bar seemed nice but was empty. The pool is really nice. The garage elevator is far from the lobby and is kind of creepy. The TV doesnt have many channels. The hallway from that elevator to the pool area smells like a liter box. Lastly, they should really add lights to the area going to the beach like other resorts have. It felt unsafe."
"Room had ants. Our room was literally a club lounge access room.
Staff was nice. The bedsheets were replaced properly and room service was great.
Breakfast at La Cascata was terrible. We had free breakfast meal from our package so we had to go but the cups were dirty, food was cold. Although the egg and the waffle chef was great. Plus there were fries and the juice was about to go bad.
The first floor smells really bad and it is poorly regulated. The water was gone unlike the picture and there was construction going on. However, pool was great and the view was great as well.
Overall a 3/5 due to sanitary issues and differences between the photos online and reality."
