The room itself, and what appeared to be the only one lady staff member were excellent and very attentive. The hotel felt more like an institution rather than a bright and open welcoming building too far away from restaurants and other amenities. And as a result way too overpriced. I have stayed in hotels in Estopana at half the price were more pleasant.

Never go to the Don Juan

I initiated a chat last night with Navdeep and I am still awaiting a reply. I started another conversation this morning with another CSR and have received no communication. This hotel is not as described and I am looking for a refund for last night and the next two days. We have nowhere else to go and I am in business meetings all day today and tomorrow. Let’s just say that the hotel is not as advertised. There are no bars, no restaurant, no reception. The place is a mess. The first apartment we were shown was insecure, the window to a common hallway would not lock. We are now on a 1st floor with a TV which does not work, there is no air conditioning.

As expected for apartment, had everything required and was on the beach, a little way out of the busy areas but as long as you don’t mind walking. The only down side as four friends we had two studios they only came with double beds, not ideal twins much better

Great Place for Base Camp

We stayed here while visiting Gibraltar and Morocco. It is away from the busy areas, and it's quiet and relaxing. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Our partial sea view apartment was spacious and had a sea view out every single window.if the apartment. It was a beautiful way to wake up!

Check in and out was very smooth. Owner showed us the room and how to turn on the heat. She even gave us her personal phone number to call her if we needed anything, as reception closes at 9pm. The porperty is beautiful and the room was clean.

We stayed in November, and value for money wise it was excellent, and what we needed. If this is your main holiday try finding somehwere else. The shower had a minimum amount of hot water (only enough for one) and it varied as to whether it came out of the shower of down the side. Needed a blanker as only a sheet on the bed. No room service so ran out of things on last night (loo roll , soap). Plus side - easy on street parking, easy walk to Duquessa on the sea front.

Das Appartment war sehr geräumig, super Bett, Sofa zum ausklappen - naja. Ausstattung der Küche war in Ordnung, sogar ein Toaster war vorhanden. Balkon ebenfalls sehr geräumig, mit Tisch und Stühlen und schönem Blick über Pool zum Meer. Am Strand führt ein sehr schöner Promenadenweg zum kleinen Städtchen, ein paar Restaurants laden zum Verweilen ein. Im Ort gibt es Supermärkte etc. in ca. 1,5km Entfernung. Mitte Oktober schien die Anlage kurz vor der Schließung, es waren kaum noch Appartments belegt, ein wenig gruselig war es schon, dafür sehr ruhig und man konnte gut vor dem Haus kostenlos parken. Der Starnd ist grobkörnig, zu unserer Zeit war er leider nicht mehr sonderlich gepflegt, voller Bambus. Die Saison schien hier bereits zu Ende zu sein. Das war etwas schade, sonst ein schönes Haus und schöne Gegend - keine typische Bettenburg wie oft in Spanien anzutreffen.

Lovely relaxing hotel

This is a lovely place to stay but in September restaurant and bar was closed and it is a good walk into Duquesa. However there are some beach bars nearby that are fairly quiet and closed early. The pool and pool area are beautiful and our apartment was very clean and comfortable, the bed was huge and comfy.

Great little trip!

We had a lovely visit. Accommodation definitely more than 2 star. Really clean and comfortable. Would probably hire a car next time as it’s a bit away from things. Only complaint was this the lifeguard was mega strict. Not even allowed a ball in the pool.

Un lugar ideal para ir con niños

Lugar muy recomendable para familias. Para empezar, nos dieron un apartamento en lugar del estudio por el mismo precio porque íbamos dos adultos y una niña y al tener disponibilidad prefieron que estuviésemos más cómodas. El lugar era agradable y estaba limpio. La cocina perfectamente equipada. Por las noches es tranquilo y se puede descansar. La piscina es una pasada y la playa a pocos metros, lo cual resultó muy cómodo. El parking correcto, aunque es de pago, merece la pena, aunque se puede aparcar al lado del chiringuito. Repetiremos.

Wspaniałe miejsce i morze robi swój urok , bo widok z basenu niesamowity. Jedyny minus to troszkę nadgorliwy Ratownik na basenie ( chyba był na okresie próbnym ;) ) . Dodam że jego zastępca w jego dni wolne był zupełnie inny w stosunku do bawiących się w wodzie dzieciaków

This place is unique it’s definitely somewhere you should only stay if you have a car, as there is not much around it. I am not positive but I think each of these apartments are privately owned because we are having Problems with our showerhead soaking our entire bathroom including the roll of toilet paper and when we brought it to the front us attention they pretty much just shrug their shoulders I feel like maybe the maintenance on the building is done by the owners and not buy the actual hotel. Also be prepared to have to buy dish soap and laundry detergent. this being said the facility was very clean and the grounds were also great the pool was wonderful but only the outdoor pool was open as the indoor pool closes seasonally I’m not sure why.We stayed here 5 nights the bed was comfortable and it was nice to have extra blankets. when we booked the hotel it said there was a washer and a dryer and there was only a washer so you had to hang everything out on your balcony and because of the humidity things do not dry fast and the towels dried extremely rough and crunchy. You only get housekeeping once a week so be prepared because they will not give you any extra towels from the front desk. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay. we stayed Here five nights and it was actually pretty comfortable and like I said earlier the pool is really great and it is right on the water. Not sure I would stay here again just because the location.

A real Gem

We have stayed at these apartments a few times now and really like them. The location for us is excellent with a really nice beach path walk in to the Port of Duquesa and find the staff really pleasant and friendly (especially the lady on the front desk). Don’t expect 5*, it is not but then it doesn’t pretend to be, but I would rate it higher than a 2*. It is always clean, well maintained and has all the amenities for a self-catering holiday if that is what you are after (we were not, and it is fine for using as a hotel type room). Outside the gardens and the pool are really nice and well maintained. This is a gem of a place for the money and numerous friends of ours have stayed and found it equally so.
