“From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with warm smiles and salutations, and throughout our stay it remained the same. Alan and his wife (the chef), Ariel, Alan’s brother and Andre and Patricia ( another chef) provided us with a rich history of the area and delicious meals. We slept like babies each night in the spacious lodging provided for us. The mountaintop views are breathtaking and taking a dip in the private waterfall was so refreshing! We totally enjoyed our stay!”

“First, the location is great. Steps to the beach and steps to the park. Great for a quick stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the room amenities are slim, the restaurant was great. Everything was very clean. ”

“Amazing stay from start to finish! The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Every meal we had was absolutely delicious. The hotel is in a beautiful coastal location and even offers convenient transportation from the San José Airport. They made planning our excursions effortless and trips into town. “This is a cute little property off the beaten path. Lots of tico places to eat in the area but you need a car. We don’t recommend the seafood place across the highway though. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread and condiments. The laminated note in the room about not getting sand in the beach towels was a little odd!”

“My family and I stayed here for 6 nights and had the most amazing time! The property is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and just the right amount of isolation in the mountains.
