"Our check-in set a bad tone for for the stay. The young lady really needed training and I can’t believe that she had had any. She was unable to answer any of our questions and she gave us some bad information regarding the facility. Our room was fine until at 10 o’clock at night we realized that the carpeting was wet by the front door. This did not affect our stay but it gave us pause. The bed was good and the shower was great but when I stayed at a Hyatt, I expect really really good and this wasn’t it for this one time."

"The staff was very friendly...don't prefer no continental breakfast but knew when we booked it was not served unless pd for. Brought our own microwave breakfasts, but there is not one in the room so the one available was in the very front by the service desk where all the guest are leaving and entering. The microwave as well as the area were dirty both days. Asked housekeeping to clean it. Also the pool is nice but the chlorine was so strong in the pool area my eyes were burning and Iwe was just in the hot tub for about 10 minutes. It needs some venting please. Otherwise a lovely hotel and Staff and rooms were great."

"We had a good stay at a great price. We enjoyed using the indoor pool, and we appreciated the breakfast buffet, which wasn't too crowded on a weekend despite the size of the hotel. (We especially liked the fluffy scrambled eggs and the waffle makers.) I booked a suite which had a separate bedroom from living area/sofabed- I hadn't realized that there were two bathrooms, which was amazing for our group of four! It's clear that this hotel is transitioning from La Quinta to Bloom, but I believe that the new owners are trying their best to make a go of the new property, which is convenient to a lot of restaurants, the airport (aside from 494 closure/construction), and a 15-min drive to Valleyfair."

"Beautiful hotel! I wish they would have warned us the pool had closed down when we checked in, I came down in a swimsuit and towel and was super embarrassed! The room had a random wet spot on the floor, probably from cleaning. But it was still wet when we checked out. The room was SO nice, I will say that I wish the rooms had a microwave. The staff was incredibly kind, I could tell she was working hard covering check ins and the snack desk."
