"Very quiet, lovely hotel for great value, food options not the greatest but it was out of season so understandable, staff all very friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely visit again but probably in season. We loved our visit to Portugal and found all locals very friendly."

"Very nice clean modern apartment, the staffs are all very helpful and friendly, amazing service, welcome drinks, my kids got given a colouring book, the hotel has a kids club , washer dryer in the apartment was a plus point , Loccitane 's toiletries. Heated jacuzzi and outdoor pool which kids have access to from 8-10am is a bonus but would be nicer if could extend until 11am :). Would definitely come back again, we have stayed at quite a number of 5 stars hotels, but this one by far has the best customer service. "

"Excellent spacious apartment, fantastic friendly staff and a jam packed kids entertainment schedule despite it being end of season. Would totally recommend as a half term sun escape. Weather was mixed but pools still manageable and indoor heated pools as an option. "

"A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good. A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant. All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there. "
