"We were at this hotel for 10 days (end of November 2025). The room was very clean. The room location was great as we faced the beach. We were on the second level which made it very convenient/walkable between the beach and the room. The kitchen in the room included everything that you need including paper towels, dishwasher soap, cleaning sponges , salt, pepper, dishes, pots and pans..etc. Hotel location was great (walking distance to many restaurants). Ample parking spaces (not sure why others said it was limited, they may have not known the parking under the hotel). Staff were amazing (both at the front desk and cleaning staff-not sure why some visitors had issues with the front desk as they were very courteous and professional-Tessy was the best). Our room was cleaned every 3 days (witout having to request the cleaning unlike some of the other reviews hear). The hotel staff communicated via text message so it would be helpful to have a phone plan to use at the island. The beaches at the hotel was just awesome. Waters were always calm. There is sand in the water so no need for rock shoes. Great snorkeling within the bay at the hotel as well as further out where you can find sea turtles and sting rays. This hotel, location and staff make it a 10/10 place to visit. We will be visiting again!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay. St. Maarten overall is absolutely beautiful! It was truly a 10 out of 10 experience. We stayed at the Sonesta Ocean Point View - Adult Only, which was the best decision! It was more peaceful, the rooms were nicer & spacious, and we enjoyed the Adult Only restaurants. We loved that we had access to everything!! We definitely believe paying extra to be on the Adult-Only side is 100% worth it! The Staff members greeted us upon arrival, they gave us a welcome drink, we checked-in early for free, had no issues checking-in and checking-out, there were no additional fees besides the security deposit hold ($50 per night of stay and you get it back with no incidents / damage)! The amenities, food, drinks, and entertainment were also great! We highly recommend their Spa. The Ocean front couples massage and classic facial was a 10 out of 10 experience! The Spa Staff is amazing!!! Our only con was: Front desk staff & restaurant staff members energy level is kind of mid. They didn’t have high energy, smile, nor engage from time to time. I also highly recommend getting a private taxi driver before your trip, it made everything super smooth for us! Overall, we loved it and would go back! Thank you Expedia!"

"It was like coming home! Villa Kapresse not only met our expectations, but surpassed them. We felt right at home from the very first night. We had dinner at the restaurant, which kicked off a perfect stay. The food was delicious and the ambiance was so relaxing. The continental breakfast was more than we could want, delicious fresh bread and our fruit and yoghurt bowls were excellent. The staff is beyond friendly and super helpful with ideas for things to do during the stay. Our room was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. The AC and fan worked great and the terrace was a nice surprise. The entire Villa is well maintained so we felt like we were in an exclusive space on the island. The location was perfect as we were centrally located. If you want a real home experience of St Martin, instead of the same ‘ol tourist stay, then book a stay at the Villa. You won’t regret it. Special thanks to Yohan and Jenifer (hope I spelled it correctly). We will be back and book here again! "
