"The Hanza Hotel sits right where Gdańsk quietly shows off: on the river, in the heart of the old town, without ever feeling touristy. It understands tone, which already puts it ahead of most places.
The staff are outstanding — warm, switched on, and genuinely proud of where they work. Every interaction feels human and considered. Meals match that confidence: breakfast is fresh and well-judged, dinners thoughtful and properly done, no gimmicks, no filler.
Rooms are calm, comfortable, and a pleasure to return to. There’s a quiet dignity to the whole place. If you want a hotel that respects both the city and your time, the Hanza delivers."

"We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The spa area was an added bonus as it was lovely to relax in there in the evening or pop in for an early morning swim.
The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The whole experience felt very special - it was a perfect getaway we’ll always remember :)"
