“A very bizarre place. We stayed here as part of a 2 week road trip around Europe and we were hugely disappointed. The room felt like we were staying in a board room. It was very big and all white with nothing on the walls and no soft furnishings. The building is very tired and dated. We went for dinner in the restaurant as there is really nothing else in the area. The service was super slow and all the tables were getting very frustrated. Breakfast was plentiful, but the quality was poor....

“The rooms are spotless clean and very nicely decorated. They serve a wonderful breakfast with high quality ingredients. The food at the restaurant was also very tasty and well prepared. However, there are two problems. First they advertise the rooms having air conditioning. Only SOME rooms have air conditioning. Others (the ones in the new wing, have a what they call "cooling system". It, supposedly, cools the room without an y cold air coming from a vent or a panel. Mine did not made any...

“The hotel in immaculate and well appointed. The coffeehouse attached has a wonderful breakfast with great service. The walls are thick concrete so it is absolutely quiet; I never heard noise (voices and doors closing) in the hall or out on the street. There is a lovely balcony with table and 2 chairs and a useful ceiling fan. The location is ideal for walking to the center of town and for the bus stop for busses to the hiking trails and to Sargens, Switzerland, if leaving via Zurich. I can...
