"I didn’t stay 5 min , I booked what i was should have been a 4 star hotel but it was not . First to get from the sticky parking garage to the hotel was very inconvenient included stairs and with luggage it was very difficult the hotel did not have a great smell and the rooms smelled like mop water. Would not recommend "

"Price: The motel charged me $84 despite expedia’s $76 with tax that shows the motel admin charged me their rate ignoring expedia fare that never happened to me before. Take action! Security deposit: $50 deposit was charged in cash not from my credit card referring policy. What if I didn’t have cash? They placed an ATM machine so guests could withdraw money for a $10 fee earning to the motel - smart way to earn more money. Or maybe save the bank cost or not being highly knowledgeable to charged and release security deposit online. Never experienced before! Staff: Had to wait and call the staff from their room because they were not at their desk at the time of check in. A small window to interact with them like a cage. Disappointing reception for such a price. Room: Had cockroaches crawling in the room and bathroom with flush problems. Internet: With a huge banner on WiFi outside the motel, the internet was pathetic. I had to connect to my laptop for an important work but it didn’t allow despite I tried all the settings. It also didn’t work on their LED that was of no use without the internet. Please take action and remove such motels out of the list, or I will use other platforms for hotel reservations. Again, motel charged me more than the price plus tax mentioned on Expedia!!! "

"We recently stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. We will not be returning and would not recommend this location. We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to CFG Bank Arena, which was indeed convenient and within walking distance. However, that was the only positive aspect of our stay. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt disorganized. Valet parking was confusing—there was no clear indication of whether they were affiliated with the hotel or the building. We followed the instructions on the ticket to text ahead for our car, but when we arrived, the request hadn’t been processed and we still had to notify them in person. Check-in was equally frustrating. The front desk staff came across as rushed and uninterested, despite it not being busy at all. There was no hospitality, no warmth—just a transactional experience that made us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. The room itself was fine and matched the photos, but the hotel overall offers very little in terms of amenities. For a Kimpton-branded property, it felt underwhelming—comparable to a basic roadside hotel rather than a boutique experience. There is no true lounge or bar area, only a restaurant that closes early, so don’t expect to enjoy a cocktail or unwind in the evening. Customer service continued to decline throughout our stay.
