"Resort was top notch!! But...we had issues with guests above us for 4 nights in a row. The staff did nothing about it and we lost sleep for 4 nights or our 10 day vacay. We will not be returning. Very sad outcome and super disappointing."

"Food was not seasoned and not as hot as I expected. Rooms needed updating. Cleaning lady was very rude the first day because I asked for a wash cloth. My refrigerator was leaking the first night. AC was cut at 22 so it feels humid and you feel hot. Would not recommend this hotel. The waiters and bartender was great!! That the only part. Jose is the best bartender. "

"My stay at Royalton Bávaro was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the level of customer service, which was consistently poor. Throughout the stay, many staff members came across as indifferent or outright rude. It often felt like service was conditional - only improving when tips were involved. While not every employee behaved this way, it was common enough to significantly impact the overall experience. What stood out most was the inconsistency in how guests were treated. On multiple occasions, I observed other guests receiving warm, attentive service while I was met with minimal engagement. As a Latino traveler, this created an uncomfortable perception that appearance may have influenced the level of service provided. The checkout experience was particularly disappointing. The staff member assisting me did not greet me, did not ask about my stay, and did not say thank you. He simply cut off my wristband without a word. At the same time, another guest next to me was greeted warmly and treated in a completely different manner. That contrast was hard to ignore. Overall, the lack of professionalism, basic courtesy, and consistency in guest treatment made this a frustrating experience. A resort of this caliber should hold its staff to a much higher standard."

The added perks, exclusive access, and elevated service made me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable getaway, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was very friendly throughout our entire trip. After checking in we noticed the dresser was broken but it couldn't be fixed. We had an issue with our shower that backed up. It flooded the floor in the bathroom and part of our room. I requested for it to be looked at and the floor to be dried and to get fresh towels since I needed to use the towels to dry the floor. I went down to the desk 2 times. The shower was looked at however the floor was never dried and the wet towels were left behind and we were never given fresh towels. It was a very disappointing end to our vacation."
