"Nice motel which is a short walk from Orewa centre and directly across from beach. Our room was newly renovated and was spotless and spacious with everything you would need. Parking is a bit tight but adequate with street parking available if you have a large vehicle."

"Overall we like spent nights here. Close to everywhere nearby by walking distance. Cafés restaurants and supermarket. Free parking. Hopefully they still maintain everything in the lodge in the future."

"Perfect place for a romantic winter getaway. Stunning grounds, great room with lovely views, the lodge was cozy and the food was great - the breakfast in particular was amazing. Dinner was expensive but it didn’t disappoint and convenient onsite. No TV in the room but no need with the cozy fireplace. Bed was comfortable with nice linen. Mini fridge, good tea and coffee making facilities. Spa bath wasn’t working unfortunately but enjoyed the sauna. Would 100% recommend this place for a couple. Would also be a great place for a small conference, executive meeting or retreat."
