โWe loved ot here and i have nothing bad to say about it the service was 100% the breakfast was great and even when we arrived and we couldn't open our window nothing was to.much trouble and he just got on and did it me and my other half are definitely going to make coming here a regular thing amd the afternoon tea was excellent thank you and see you again soon โ
โExactly what I wanted, what I have expected hearing from my family who have stayed there previously so it was great to have a relaxing time with great service and food โ
โTake yourself back in time to an era we all want to recreate away from this troubling world. I was hoping for a spitfire to zoom overhead at anytime. A beautiful location within the Chatsworth estate in old style properties with plenty of character. Just a few steps away is a lovely local pub The Beeley Inn serving delicious food (the ox cheek is to die for,) agreeably itโs not cheap but you get what you pay for. Ideal for a special treat.โ
โThe hotel staff were great. The evening meal was very good - also really enjoyed walking around the grounds before dinner and drinks in the sunshine in the garden.
Hotel room was excellently fitted and wonderfully spacious. Only issue is that it was at the top of the main stairs and close to the kitchen/wash below it. This meant there was some noise fairly early in the morning and later in the evening.โ
โWe loved Riber View!
Positives: comfy beds, clean throughout, nice sofas, sun trap garden, dog friendly, great view.
No real negatives for us.
Will definitely stay again.โ
โWent for a nice weekend away, took a little working out where it was located, for help, left at the green then left down the tracks :)
House was in prestine condition was a lovely stayโ
โThis Grade 2 hotel, is an excellent example of how to do things right. Even lack of staff did not stop the owner from providing an excellent service. Would recommend anytime and will definitely stop again sometime. โ
โAccomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast.
The listing states that there is free parking but this isnโt true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as itโs false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free...
