Also, what is better than a day of hiking and then some time in their beautiful pool in the amazing yard with mountain views. The place is very friendly for any type of traveler; solo, couples, small groups and great for families. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend."

"Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope their business does well."
