"The room was moderately clean but smelt very damp. We got constant condensation which made the netting damp even when we had the heater on which just blew out cold air most of the time. You do not provide mini fridges which I find really inconvenient when travelling with a toddler who constantly wants snacks. I had to throw yogurts/milk and cheese strings in the bin as I had nowhere to store them. When we arrived at the promise it took around 20 minutes to get checked in as there was only 1 member of staff on reception who was having some technical difficulties with the family she was checking in. We then eventually got to our room and could not connect to the WiFi even by following rh instructions provided it said my name and room number do not match the records. When I came down to reception to get assistance by the lady who had checked up is another lady (did not catch her name) came over and was extremely abrupt and rude talking to me like I was stupid and didn't know how to follow simple instructions. I then had another member of staff and gent who I believe was the manager follow me up in the lift to our room even when I asked him not to. We ordered food on the Saturday which came to our room cold. My daughters pasta was so cold it had clumped together. She loves pasta but would not eat anymore then the first bite and I wouldn't have either which meant she was left in eating dry cereal and grapes for lunch. Overall a poor experience. Wouldn't stay here again. "

"Despite a request for a disability friendly room we found ourselves at the very top of the guest house and having to carry heavy luggage with a disability was totally unacceptable. In addition to this we were met with a pungent smell of cigarettes and cannabis and the smell unfortunately was rife in our room and we were unable to remove the smell despite having windows open all night and using our cleaning products as air freshners . The bathroom was in a despicable state very very dirty toilet and bathroom floor, so much so my partner had to use the additional towel as an impromptu bathmat. The curtains were stained and cobwebs were visable around the room. In fairness the bed was comfortable enough, tv worked and it had the tea/coffee/kettle as you would expect. I know I wasn't staying at the ritz but you still expect a certain level of cleanliness and hygiene wherever you stay and unfortunately this was one of the worst establishments i have ever stayed in. sesdespithavwindunable "
