Staff were very polite and welcoming. The room could use some upgrades. TVs do not work unless you use your own apps. The bathroom light was very dim, and the one above the mirror did not work, which made it difficult to put makeup on; it was the only mirror in the room.

Close enough to Poblado you can walk but just tucked away that you don’t get all the noise. Staff are all fantastic. Everyone is so chill and laidback and it’s very easy to have a few drinks by the pool every night chatting to other guests.

This is my honest review as a 44yo woman. I thought from the review it was a good place to meet people as a solo traveller. It was only young crowd. It was not a friendly atmosphere for myself. I stayed in a single room and I’m glad I did. The room was so basic and needed to be updated big time especially the flooring and the washroom. The shower wet the floor all over and it was pretty dangerous to walk on it. There was only two towels nothing else. I paid the same fare for a very luxurious hotel few days ago so the price wasn’t right. I don’t believe that room was worth more then 80$/night cad The noise was just disrespectful. People came back at 4:30 am and literally had no shame in yelling and singing to wake up everyone. The good things about this hotel is that there’s breakfast included. The pool and lights at night are nice to look at. The bar opens at 15:00. There’s a little convenience store on the same street and a big supermarket few mins walk called Exit. I hope this review helps a few to book the right place.

Fantastic property. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Location is in a quiet area but a short walk to the action. Room appeared recently renovated and was spacious. Pool/bar area was really nice. Included buffet breakfast had a decent amount of options.

If you like it on the quieter side then this is perfect. Honestly though it is on a quiet street and not safe to walk at night. During the day is fine. Easy walk to the metro. The staff are awesome and always willing to help

Windowless private room with awful moldy smell. Didn't seem like a very social hostel and the few tours they offered were overpriced. It was also pretty loud, not because people were rowdy but just because there wasn't very good noise insulation. The other side of the main road (calle 10) seems like a better location with more restaurants. All the staff were very friendly though.

Medellin Vibes was excellent for us. It is not a fancy hotel, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great environment. Location was perfect, easy to jump in an uber and close to all activities around. Would book with them again.

It was a horrible experience to stay at Medellin Vibes! the front desk attendant was extremely unpleasant and not helpful at all. this was more of a place to go clubbing than a hostel. The air conditioner was not working properly and the filter was completely clogged with dirt. Out of the 4 nights we stayed, we had hot water only the first night and the staff knew that they were having problems with the water heater. We could hardly sleep because the music was so loud. The breakfast was of the lowest quality and it was almost impossible to get ice. The toilet seat was loose and broken. It was a nightmare!!!!
