I suppose you pay for what you get. The location was amazing, in the middle of Melbourne and convenient to everything. The staff were very helpful. Sheets and towels were clean. The building, reception, entrance and room very old and tired. Bathroom was clean and bed comfortable. But. Windows broken, picture glass broken, so much dust on EVERYTHING, you could stuff 100s of soft toys. If you are looking for a great location this is it. But it is cheap and nasty

Cheap accommodation in the heart of the city. Comfortable bed, large room, opening window, hot water in a newly refurbished bathroom. Carpets a bit worn, a repaint in room and corridors would raise the level. So much better than expected, given the price. Some occasional noise from the streets, but again so much better than expected.

The room served its purpose for a one night stay, right in the middle of a very convenient area. But, for $235 a night, some of that profit should be invested on "upgrading" some necessities in the room, like paint work(the walls, doors either have dark marks from something that had been dragged there or they're chipping off), AC(box type from the 90's), linen(looks like it's got mold and yelliw marks) and better vacuum to clean the carpets. Overall "cleanliness is a bit questionable, The AC & window railings are very dusty and the windows are almost opaque from a bit of dust inside and rain streak marks outside.

It's a fine 3 star hotel. It is what I expected. I only came here to sleep for one night. Bed was good. Amenities were good. The toilet and bathroom were small in my room. Overall, for a solo traveller, it's a fine hotel/motel. Don't expect a great hotel room.

The room was good for the price and in a good location. However the bed broke and I reported it. They did nothing about it. Told me it would be fixed and it wasn't. Had to rearrange the room to be able to sleep at all. It was a nice place, but the staff just didn't care at all.

While the price was good/cheap ($99) the room itself was not very clean. Dusty and there was some rubbish left in the bathroom sink. The location is excellent. I feel a deep clean was required. The room itself was quite unique being in an older building and could use even a slight upgrade with nice decor would make a difference.

The room itself was pretty dirty. Lots of built up dust underneath furniture and appliances. The air con worked great, no issues there. Check-in was straight forward and easy. The location is great. 3 minute walk from Flinders and ease if access to Melbourne. It could use a bit of care, but you get what you pay for and it served its function as a short-term stay.
