The properly is impeccably maintained and the amenity around the riverbank is respectful of its natural setting. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the service is first class. Definitely coming back here.

The Host and other Staff are very friendly and helpful; the property is in a beautiful part of Warburton. There are mountain views all around and the Yarra river flows at the back of the property, which you can actually hear. The breakfast ritual of Kookaburras landing on the verandah to eat their daily "treat", is a truly nice and real Australian experience.

Stayed here for Elton John concert. Very good location and lovely staff. Service slow bus to fully booked hotel. Would have been nice if there was wine or a mini bar in the fridge as we arrived back at 9.30 as the concert was canceled due to rain and the bar was closed. Overall pleasant stay.

A gem in Warburton

This was our second visit to Oscar’s on the Yarra and it has changed hands since then. Although it was good on our first visit, the new owners have made improvements that make the experience even better. The property is in a beautiful setting and we particularly enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast each morning was very good as was the one evening meal that we had during our stay. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly be making a return visit.

Booked because of good reviews for the restaurant but as I was one of only 3 people staying that night the restaurant menu was limited. However, pleasant meal, not quite as good as expectations.

It was lovely! Great location, with easy access to wineries and the redwood forest. The rooms are lovely and clean; we stayed in the apartment which was private and spacious. The restaurant was good, especially the breakfast. The staff were the standout! They were really friendly and accomodating, nothing was too difficult for them. We’ll definitely be back!
