“Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! ”

We had a bad nights sleep - the bed was uncomfortable and there didn’t appear to be any kind of sound proofing in the rooms as it felt like we could hear every coming and going in the hotel, including the guests talking in the next room. The bathroom was also not very clean, there was black mould on the door runner in the shower and even the toilet roll holder was rusty. The breakfast was disappointing and poor quality.”

“Property and rooms are very tired and in need of a lot of work. Warm water and lots of noisy floorboards. Ok for one night but really not anything more. Parking was full and had to park on a public car park. Area is generally dingy and run down. Such a shame for what used to be a beautiful market town.”

“This is a hidden gem. It's a charming old manor house with very comfortable rooms and lovely food. The staff can't do enough for you and are extremely helpful. It's set in its own grounds, completely hidden from the road with no noise apart from birdsong and the whispering of the trees.”

“Great location for park and ride into Bath. We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better. Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen.
