“My stay here was an amazing experience. The restaurant offered service on par with what you would expect from a hotel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and made a lasting impression. While the cleanliness of the room and the lack of transportation options could be considered minor downsides, the room quality was still reasonable given the price. Since I was already aware of the isolated location, it wasn't an issue for me.”

The breakfast staff were rushed off their feet and it was obvious that more staff were needed as tables were stacked with used crockery and the breakfast items ran out in several areas. Not the fault of the staff on duty but the issue of needing more staff. I would also have preferred not to have to pay for parking albeit reduced.”

“Lovely warm welcome,having arrived on foot as we were walking around the island. Room newly and nicely decorated and very clean. Biscuits in room and coffee machine were nice extra touches. Excellent menu choice for breakfast . Evening meal choice also good and nicely cooked. We loved the sea view from the bedroom”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay”
