"Very nice place. Everything has this nice island vibe. Got served fresh fruit, juice and yogurts every morning. There is parking for your golf cart or scooter. The main city area is a 15 minute walk. I have done this a few times to get my steps in. However I usually just use our rented scooter. "

"My husband and I were stuck due to car problems. We ended up staying for a week and were very comfortable with our villa. Staff were very friendly. My only recommendation would be to add at least a fan in the gym as it gets very hot to exercise in there !"

"We booked and stayed 1 night in this very cute on the beach cabana. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed the ocean waves all night. As a bonus we were invited to have coffee the next morning with the host and they shared a lovely breakfast of freshly made tortillas and cheese creme & veggies."

"Place was really nice and definitely clean. The staff was great. Having a refrigerator was very nice since you can go to the store And by your own things and cook if you wish to do so. Breakfast was very good but it only opens on the weekends. I do wish the shower head worked better and they could in the future think about screening the windows since it doesn’t have AC it gets hot but if you leave the windows open then the mosquitoes come in and they have a feast. "This was our second time staying in the villas at Montecristo. The resort is beautiful and has much to offer. Dining options are great and shuttle transportation is prompt and drivers are courteous. The villas are spacious and the private pool and hot tub are top on our priority since pools in the resort are crowded. The villa was clean, but the floors needed to be mopped. The villas could also use some updating and TLC. Overall, great place and I would return. "

"Beautiful views and panorama of the lagoon. Sunrise here is exceptional. The water access is private and plentiful, with use of sit-upon kayaks and one SUP included. The front porch of the unit offers a picturesque view of the garden and shared spaces. Wifi is strong and communication with the host is clear.
