We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel. "Lovely place near Jingshan Park. Super cute room with kettle AND teapot (and 2 choices of loose tea). Rooms face quiet courtyard entered from lobby - good place to sit on sunny day. Had yummy dinner in restaurant on my last night. All staff were very nice and helpful."

"The room was good enough for me, all i needed for a solo traveller. No english speaking on reveption tho so need the translator. Not too much within walking distance so good job taxi's are reasonably priced. To be fair everything in beijing is quite far from one another"
