“We stayed at Hotel Balneari Termes Orion for 3 nights at the end of May 2026 to attend the wedding of a friend who got married close by.
Friendly, helpful staff, who were very accommodating.
The breakfast buffet is great, with lots of options, worth spending the extra money. Lovely cocktails at the bar too.
The rooms were great - good size, comfortable bed, air con worked really well and large, powerful shower.

“Place was magical. Incredible views, architecture, service, food, etc. Rooms were huge and were cleaned daily, as well as towels replaced. The free breakfast was amazing, and Irene was always so attentive. Perfect place to stay and relax. Could not have been better.”

“Very pleasant stay and dinner. Staff is very friendly and speaks perfect English. Dinner was great and the room was spotless and comfortable.
Note: If you’re coming in a very low sports car you may not be able to reach the hotel. My MX5 managed just fine but lower cars might struggle.”

“If you read the website, the hotel state to offer breakfast, lunch and diner. That is NOT TRUE. No lunch during weekdays. We made a long trip to get to the hotel and expect to eat lunch. Not get in the car again. The quality of the local restaurants is "not up to international standards". We drove to two restaurants in villages which were given by the reception. “We arrived in the early-afternoon, and struggled with finding access to the main 'entrance'. After parking and walking around the perimeter of the lodge, we found a keypad which rang into the host of the property. The host was relaxed and laid-back, which spoke to the location of our stay; Can Bassa is tucked 25-minutes outside of Girona, with no local amenities (gas, grocery, food) accessible.
