Don't expect much

A few things. We stayed for two nights. The rooms are alright - as shown in photos. Nothing was wrong with the room, it's just everything else that's out of touch with this hotel. You have to leave a security deposit in cash (since they don't do holds on credit card). The closest ATM is about 900m away although the area is really sketchy so walking at 11pm hunting for a working ATM wasn't the greatest. You have a kitchenette but it's 50Euros to use it. There's no breakfast although it's advertised as such. The staff is nice, I get these policies aren't they're own doing. I will most likely not be coming back to his hotel next time I'm in Milan.

Hotel Covetto Residence

The hotel staff were very kind, the room and hotel were kept very clean and our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. It was also reassuring to know the reception was manned 24/7

After traveling 700km we were asked to first park our car outside of the residence, check in and only then we could enter. Not the best way to start if you know there were no free spots around the area

I travel regularly in Italy for business. On this occasion due to a late meeting I missed the last train home and was forced to stay the night. I was treated as a massive inconvenience for the staff. In particular the late night porter who was shockingly lecturing, patronising and sarcastic. I’ve enjoyed many stays in Italian hotels and without exception the staff have been excellent. This was exceptionally awful, I shall not be returning.

Property was not as advertised on Travelocity. No Shuttle, No Breakfast, No coffee in the room. No pool towels available for use and pool closes early. Dirty, smells of dog urine, and disappointed overall and received only partial refund. (stayed only 1 of 4 nights booked)

Odore di cucina in corridoio e soprattutto in camera. 100euro di cauzione cash o scrivendo gli estremi della propria carta di credito su un foglio che si girano tutti in reception per la pulizia del cucinino. Letto incastrato tra 2 pareti senza spazio per un comodino e/o una lucetta. Inappropriato e caro.

Struttura comoda in zona Corvetto, adeguatamente funzionale, possibilità di parcheggio riservato agli ospiti che va chiesto preventivamente poichè ne ho saputo l'esistenza solo alla mia partenza, personale gentile e cortese, pulito, camere spaziose, confortevoli, WiFi gratuito, molto silenziosa e comoda. Sicuramente ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Il miglior compromesso in zona strategica di Milano in zona Lodi Rigamonti Corvetto allacci tangenziali e autostrade.

The residence is a basic place to sleep as it has not services, only a pool. The condition of the room is good and the best it is the quality of the windows is very very good- not noice coming at all! They scare you a bit with the use of the kitchenette, for the cleaning you have to pay 50€ extra if you use it but they have only 1 vending machine if you want to eat and not service for even breakfast, so not very coherent. The only thing terrible was the wc that is pretty brown colour inside instead to be white, they could use a bit of bleach to make it back to it's original colour as doesn't looks exactly disinfected. Also some visible dust in the shelfs of the desk. The location is in a residential area with assumable walking distance from the underground, it is a nice walk.

Do not book! Read fine print.

You must call 24 hours before check-in and you can check-in only between 6pm and 10pm. Good luck contacting the hotel anytime before 6pm. I called the place the evening prior check-in, the gentleman asked me to call again in 5 minutes. I did but nobody answered. You are requested to pay 50 Euros for using the spartan kitchenette and pay deposit for outdoor keys, which you need to use if you want to get in the hotel before 6pm. I was expecting a nice small boutique hotel, this is not it.

Stayed 14.09.20 - 17.09.20. Staff at Hotel were amazing and gave good advice on where to go for good quality restaurants. Gave directions as to where to go to find local Metro station. Always friendly and nothing was too much trouble Felt safe as guests temperature was read every time you entered the hotel lobby.

A perfect weekend break.

Although first impressions may not delight from the outside this hotel is a great base for exploring Milan, it is only a 5 minute walk to the metro which will whisk you into the centre In 10/15 mins and it was lovely to relax by the pool and have a refreshing dip after spending the day exploring the city. There are lots of cafes and shops nearby but we just bought our own breakfast and ate in the apartment which had everything you need leaving a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge to chill for our return later which we enjoyed in the gardens. I was concerned about the kitchenette cleaning charge however we left everything as we found it and this was not applied to us. The staff were friendly and accommodating and from a COVID point of view we could not have felt safer. Definitely would return 😊

La résidence Corvetto est bien situé, à proximité du métro Porto di Mare ( ligne jaune),à 7 stations de la cathédrale. La chambre est spacieuse, équipée pour un court séjour, literie très confortable. Une réseau wifi très satisfaisant. Le gros point négatif est que la piscine est payante et le prix excessif( 19 eur/2 personnes/4 heures). Il faut réserver son créneau. Georges est un réceptionniste très agréable et sympathique. Dans l’ensemble, si l’on fait abstraction de la piscine, c’est un bon rapport qualité/prix. Environnement très calme, idéal pour se reposer après une longue journée de visite. Personnel de chambre très discret.

Unpretentious gem of an efficiecy

This efficiency is in a convenient if very unlovely neighborhood. It felt rather like a college dorm room, but was perfectly serviceable. Better for long stays, thought be careful to clean the kitchette well as not doing so costs you a €50 cleaning fee. But the front desk staff were excellent, nice to have space, the fridge and dishes and such. Did not cook more than hot water, and not having a kettle that meant using the stove top and a pot. The location is convenient to shops and the metro and with some research, some great local restaurants. The neighborhood is a little down rev, but not specifically unsafe just feels a bit off, and for Italy, pretty grim. . The grounds do include a pool (smaller than it looks on the website but clean) and a lovely garden on the property. We spent each later afternoon there with our own bottle of wind and snacks, a great rest from the city noise.
