This hotel is in an excellent position for shopping, joining the hop on hop off bus, eating etc The reception staff were particularly kind in recommending good restaurants, ordering taxis - taking us ti the road and making sure taxi driver was the right one and knew where we were going. Breakfast had something for everyone and was really enjoyable. The hotel itself is functional, well kept etc - I would recommend it .

Excellent location. This hotel was very clean, rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were really nice and had great recommendations. Indoor parking was clean, secure and close. Parking was 41 Euros a day. It was worth it for peace of mind. Perfect location with restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket all located right when you walk out of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

I honestly cannot give this hotel more than 3 stars with a clear conscience. The rooms are ridiculously small, making it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed. To make matters worse, there was a lot of noise coming from outside the hotel throughout the night, which made getting a good night’s sleep nearly impossible. The breakfast was another disappointment, with a very limited selection of food and hardly any variety. Overall, the hotel fell well below our expectations. Between the tiny rooms, excessive nighttime noise, and disappointing breakfast, I simply cannot recommend staying here. Definitely will not be staying here again!

My wife and I had booked this hotel 6 months in advance as part of our honeymoon trip. We received confirmation of our stay via email from Expedia and the hotel itself. Upon arrival the front desk staff notified us that there was a “glitch” in their system and they were unable to provide a room for us. So instead of contacting us ahead of time to let us know this happened, they booked us another room at another hotel nearby that was considered an “upgrade” but happened to be far from that. A typical stay at the new hotel cost half the price of our original booking and it definitely reflected that the moment we walked in. We were very unhappy by this and the most they were able to give us for this major inconvenience was complimentary breakfast. I wanted to speak with management but staff said nobody was present, so we were told to email them. It’s been well over 2 weeks, and still no response unfortunately. Attached is a photo of our “upgraded” room. We will definitely not be staying at Hotel Fenice Milan in the future, very unprofessional and not accommodating whatsoever.

Central, comfortable hotel.

The hotel is well located with excellent travel links. Check-in was quick and friendly. We had a triple room and, although not particularly big, was adequate for our needs. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows provided if needed. The breakfast was also very good. We might’ve rated higher but there was just a couple of things that we weren’t very happy with. There was a couple of members of staff that we found a little rude and on a couple of days some breakfast items weren’t replenished. We were only provided with two of everything in the room despite it being a triple room booked for three people. Not a big problem when you can ask for extra but when you need to justify why you want an extra towel but not hand over a used one it is a bit irritating. Our air conditioning unit started leaking water on the first night so we had to go without. We were advised to open a window but between the smoke coming in one window from the non-smoking room next door and the potential for bugs this was not a viable option. The issue was fixed the next day and we had no further trouble with it. We got a great deal on this room so felt like we got value for money but if we had paid the full rate I would’ve been quite disappointed. I would stay here again but only if I could secure the same low rate.
