We were greeted by Yana, a delightful young lady who spoke excellent English and explained the functions of the hotel She also recommended lovely restaurants in the close vicinity on our arrival. Location is perfect and just around the corner from San Babila metro stop which is on the Blue line and only 7 stops from Linate airport. This hotel is also very close to all major attractions and shops and restaurants It doesn’t serve breakfast but lots of places nearby…. A Nespresso machine in the room with additional croissants etc

An Expensive Stay That Falls Short This was my second stay in Italy, and as someone working in the hotel business, I always enjoy exploring new properties and looking for ideas and inspiration. I was attracted by this hotel’s character, expecting something closer to an upscale boutique experience. Unfortunately, at $300+ per night, it fell well short of those expectations. The staff are excellent — courteous, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Mr. K. at the night front desk, who was particularly professional and attentive. The rooms are spacious and individually named — Coco, Giorgio, etc. — which I actually like. However, the execution does not match the price: inexpensive-looking finishes, an unattractive and poorly maintained bathtub, a very tight bathroom, and questionable design choices, including the air-conditioning outlet directly opposite the bed. The biggest surprise is the complete absence of a breakfast facility. There is nowhere in the hotel to have breakfast, even for an additional charge. The cookies and croissants in the room are hardly a substitute — frankly, I found better ones at the central railway station. And then there is the 11:00 a.m. check-out — apparently the new standard! Overall, the issue is the gap between the price and the experience. The hotel has some interesting boutique-style touches, but the quality, cleanliness and attention to detail do not justify $300+ per night!!
