The service from the staff was great. But the rooms were quite dirty. The carpet and beds were dirty. One of the bathrooms in one of our rooms had leakage and water everywhere. Chose to leave within a few hours of having checked in.

It was okay but carpeting was dirty and nasty turned my socks black just walking around in the room really nice king size bed comfortable but not sure???has monthly tenants living there with children which I totally understand and happy that the children have a safe place to sleep and live and I thank the owner for that and his compassion for the children and families who are in need of housing but the tenants look at this as there home and treat the guests that come here as if they’re trespassing or something like that so they disrespect them and ask them for handouts like cigarettes and such not cool over all I’m from the City and know a hustle or con before it gets underway that I will shut it down and let them move on but some people don’t have that kind of knowledge and get taken advantage of by theses people so beware and don’t be afraid to say something or say no to them if you stay here oh yeah the continental breakfast just a jug of milk in a cooler and dry cereal watered down juice is all it is!

Norwood Inn & Suites was the ultimate worst place I've ever stayed at. There was strong smells of marijuana as soon as we parked. This smell permeated throughout the facility. The pictures are NOT reflective of the actual rooms or facility. We checked in and they asked for my credit card--standard procedure and no issues. We got to our room and it was cold even though the heat was cranked up all the way. Coffee machine & phone didn't work. we walked back down to let the front desk know. They gave us a new room. Heat and coffee machine worked. However safety features were completely lacking. The chain lock was connected with a magnet that easily came right off. The deadbolt didn't work. (The door did lock). Peep hole was smeared with something, limiting the view. We were tired and blocked the door with a chair and called it good. The shower was either freezing cold water or scalding hot water, nothing in between. 10:45pm: we were asleep and there was a knock on the door and they announced they were from the front desk and our credit card didn't go through and wanted me to go down with my credit card and pay again (now 11pm). I asked if I could pay in the morning. Morning arrives and we went to go pay for the room. Asked to checkout early and cancel our second night. Man insisted I only booked for one night. Finally admitted I did book for 2 nights. Refused to cancel second night.

Place is super dirty , it has trash in the hallways left from assuming housekeeping . When checked in there was no towel in my room when I asked for some I was told I have to wait til the next morning at 9am . Address on expedia is not correct! The first room smacked us with a strong urine smell upon entering. Carpet was so dark and dirty even my shoes were getting sticky. Switched to a new room. This one every time the ac kicked in, it was like somebody blowing out cigarette smokes at us. Bedding had many stains of the unknown and of course human hair as well. Carpet was a bit better but still dark and stained so we kept out shoes and socks on the entire time. The tub. The tub was so disgusting that we skipped out on showering that night. F that. We were only staying for 1 night thankfully.

Very disappointing stay. The bedsheets and bathroom were unclean, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the Wi-Fi was unavailable despite being requested. The TV and telephone did not work, there was no food service, and the parking area was dirty. Seeing a sign that the hotel was not responsible for lost items in the parking lot was also concerning. Overall, our stay felt more like survival than comfort. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests.

The pictures look nothing like how the room actually looked and they had breakfast, but it was cereal, milk, muffins, and toast. And when I got the room, it was damages already done to the room. I reported them to the front desk. I’m not saying anything supposed to be perfect, but just make sure everything is up to their standards.
