Its great place for amazon experience. Well maintained property. Rooms; dining area and bar are great. Loved it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Getting to the place is not easy. Don’t follow google maps. Hotel has placed signs all over for directions. Dirt roads for about 10km. Call early so they will direct well.

Loved this place.

We loved it here. Such an amazing place. It’s remote, but the signage was good and our driver found it. Probably best to get there during the day. We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me. But the place was so nice we were very happy we stayed here.

We had such a wonderful stay at Suchipakari Lodge. The property is absolutely beautiful—you truly feel like you’re deep in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by nature in the most peaceful way. One of the highlights for us was the on site chocolate tour. It was not only fascinating but also delicious, and such a unique experience to have right there at the lodge. We also went tubing with our young kids, and it was both very safe and incredibly fun, something the whole family could enjoy without any stress. I also did the night walk with my 5 year old, which was such a special experience. It was fun and exciting, and we learned so much along the way. Of course, the guide was incredibly kind and patient. What really made our stay special, though, was the energy of the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, calm, and genuinely welcoming. There’s a peacefulness about the place that feels contagious, maybe it really is the jungle life. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in nature.

Para hacer turismo me pareció un poco lejos de Misahualli, llegué en la noche y no tuve señal para que me expliquen cómo ingresar , no es fácil. lo alquilé porque vi que estaban junto a un río, que llaman Playa, ya no existe este lugar, es ahora una poza y hay muchos moscos .. el desayuno regular , lo levantaron 9h00 am al buffett . no me encantó, sin embargo la gente que atiende muy amable

Very Difficult to Find

While the hotel was fine (nothing overly special or notable about the property), what was not made clear was how far off the beaten path this hotel was. We rented a car to tour Ecuador and relied heavily on Google Maps to navigate us and this place while it was correctly located, we had to go through harsh rocky, unpaved and muddy terrain. If it were not for the 4x4 SUV we rented and the help of local police officers we would have NEVER found this place.

Extremely Unfriendly and unpersonal manager. Dirty towels. Rooms can be improved. Not accesible for wheelchair or disable people. Bad road. Not paved road, not suitable for small cars. Like 30 minutes from downtown.

had a great stay at suchipakari, it's a beautiful jungle lodge. Difficult to find if you have a bad cab driver and not easy to locate on gps either, but once you're there it's great

Beautiful but expensive

We made the booking through hotels.com after being sold a cabin with separate lounge, kitchen and a pool. When we arrived finding there was none of the above mentioned. We are travelling for 8 months and booking accommodation with kitchens do we can keep to a budget and cook for ourselves. We booked for 3nights but left after 1night because we we're miss sold the accommodation and so it was unaffordable. We had to pay $20 to and from Tena an hour and a half into the jungle with no wifi, markets so had to eat in the expensive restaurant. We had to buy everything from the resort at their extortionate rates because we had no choice. Even water to brush your teeth. or what we were expecting. There was also no one else there so soulless too. Don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful in an incredible spot, lovely staff, just wish we had been given the correct info and not been miss sold our canin. We are travelling to Quito today and will be speaking to the management company to see if the can compensate us. Also, if you use hotels.com make sure there is no way you might make a change to your booking while travelling, we had to change this booking at the last minute and the only way to do that was call the office in LONDON!! We are in Ecuador!!!! No email address, no way of managing yourself or a chat line!! Nada!!!

Feeling the jungle experience

We had a great time. Two things were a problem. On my Expedia confirmation, it said I could pay by cash or card upon my exit. I got an email from someone at the hotel saying we should go to a Quito office and pay before we arrived. We flew into Quito and didn't have a clue about anything and made our way to the hotel. I trusted the Expedia confirmation. So when we got there they would only accept cash. I didn't have enough on me, so we had to spend an extra 25.00 on cab fares to go to town and get to an ATM. Also we didn't get the accommodations that we saw on the website. But that wasn't a biggie. It just would have been nice to have what we saw on line
