"Halekulani Okinawa exceeded every expectation and was easily the most luxurious resort we experienced during our time in Japan. Traveling as a family of four, we chose to splurge on two rooms in the Sunset Beach Tower, and it was absolutely worth it. The rooms were stunning, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with premium amenities. From the stocked minibar and Nespresso machine to the beach bag and sandals you can take home, every detail felt elevated. The inclusion of comfortable pajamas added an extra layer of comfort. Housekeeping was exceptional with daily service and a relaxing evening turndown. Service across the entire resort was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, creating a welcoming and seamless experience throughout our stay. Dining was a highlight. We enjoyed dinners at House Without a Key, which offered a perfect casual setting with great seafood, pasta, and salads, and Steak & Wine for a more upscale experience. The quality of food was excellent across the board. Steak & Wine is on the pricier side, but the experience and quality matched the cost. Be sure to book reservations in advance as slots open daily and fill quickly. We chose to explore local cafés for breakfast, which was a great way to experience the island. The resort is also conveniently located near several excellent dining options. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool areas were beautiful and relaxing. 5 Stars all the way!!"

"가족 기념일을 위해서 예약한 숙소였고, 기대했던 만큼 깨끗한 객실, 객실에서 보이는 멋진 오션뷰, 잘 관리된 아름다운 정원, 인상적인 로비의 전경, 친절한 직원들에 대하여 아주 만족한 숙박이었습니다. 다만 아쉬웠던 점은 객실 내에서 나는 특이한 냄새가 고급호텔에 어울리는 냄새가 아니었어요.(저는 9층에 있는 오션뷰 룸에서 지냈습니다) 그리고 실내수영장 이용 시, 타올에서 너무 불쾌한 냄새가 났습니다. 이 부분만 보완되면 더욱 좋은 호텔이 될 수 있을 것 같습니다. 다음에 오키나와에 다시 간다면 또 이용하고 싶어요. "

"Rooms could use an update. Attended a wedding and wanted to check in a little early but not offered and asked to return after 3:00. Around 2:30 asked for a changing area and the staff checked on room status and let us in a little early. It would have been better if the first person we spoke with had at least checked the status of room and possibly accommodate an early check in. The fact the wedding and reception was held at the hotel with 200 people, one would think the hotel would try to assist with guests attending."

"The Villa itself was spacious and decent. All the basic amenities and the green space out front was nice. However, there was a lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom, which is odd given the fact many people come to Okinawa for the beach. The location was in a nice residential neighbourhood, but felt like no man’s land in terms of eateries etc. If you’re vegetarian, like me, good luck. The area is dominated by resorts and caters to meat eaters. The pool area is a bit tired and it’s about a 3 min walk away from the villa. Neither hot tub was working and one was full of what looked like mold. Plus they charge you 100 yen per pool towel, not expensive but just annoying. Staff were friendly but overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. "
