We were looking for a local out of the way spot and happened upon Gonzo. What a treat! Our room was really comfortable and cute. We had access to a private balcony and it was convenient to everything. Mostly the staff. Fatima, in reception went out of her way to provide service! We will be back on our return to Moab. The Gonzo has a funky vibe that really works well. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice, well appointed and come with balconies. Pet friendly too. Great location, friendly staff, clean room, jacuzzi open in the winter! We arrived about 7 pm but the front desk was already closed. They texted us instructions and lucky for us someone was inside to help us get sorted. In fact he was awesome. We had to check in and out the next morning. The breakfast was down the street at a food truck, which beat the usual hotel breakfast, but the seating was outdoors and it was freezing temps that morning. We found the amenities a bit lacking, but not bad for the price point. I would probably have rated it a 4.5 if that was available, but we would definitely return and recommend this hotel.
