The staff were (again) super. The breakfast team were always welcoming and eager to help and Anna from reception was wonderful. The room was perfect. Mum is disabled and needs a scooter to get around, the lift access to each floor meant everything was available but the lower lift remises broken for our entire trip which meant reliance on taxis from the top or me dismantling and carrying it down the steps while mum had to stand. It wasn’t ideal but a huge thank you to the staff who helped a couple of times to carry it dow ln with me. It’s the second time this year at this hotel and the staff are excellent and the views are incredible. We’ve had a great stay! Thank you!

Fantastic accomodation + location and views.

Beautiful well equipped room with private pool. Fantastic location overlooking the port and the sea. Very clean and new. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Only small negative, a little over reliant on technology, check in was a bit difficult and we were locked out of our room on the morning of checkout due to power failure

Hotel is very tranquil perfect for couples. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. My only niggle is our room with pool (202) like many others did not get sun on the terrace until around 1 in the afternoon, when it was too hot for us. We spent our time by the main pool, which is gorgeous and often we were the only ones there. But not using our own pool was disappointing. I would definitely go again but not pay for a private pool.

Wow Wow Wow!!! I saw Grand Horizon advertised last year and it had been on my radar for a short break without the kids. I booked this trip at Christmas and we have been looking forward to it since then. I genuinely cannot find fault with Grand Horizon, and cannot understand a lot of the negative comments in the reviews. This is our 4th holiday to Gran Canaria (6th in the Canaries) and hands down, this hotel is the nicest by far. There were plenty of staff around the complex, whether that be cleaning, or by the pool/at the bar. 24/7 reception/customer care team have been perfect from my initial enquiries in December, through to checking up if everything is OK during the stay. Notably, Yasmine and Sabrina are 5* personal concierge and answered any questions in a timely manner. One of the key selling points is amazing sea views being at the top of the mountain. We booked an Elite suite with private pool and we genuinely speechless when we arrived. The entire complex is spotlessly clean and built to a very high standard with super high quality finish. I’m usually ready to go home at the end of a holiday/break, but this time I’m genuinely sad to be leaving today. Beautiful hotel. Fantastic staff. Amazing views. Thank you again… I will be back soon! ❤️

Lovely apartments with spectacular sunset views

This property is quite new, stylish and well-maintained. It is stylish and has great views from a commanding position on a hill just above the port. It is really an apartment complex with a restaurant open sometimes and offer buffet breakfast with the facility to order some items fresh such as omelettes. The property has a small staffing, but these are friendly, efficient and helpful people. Big shout for Carmelo at breakfast and Karen in the restaurant and the charming chap at the pool bar who suffered last week’s 30# temperatures cheerfully. Cleaning every second day could be more thorough. Expect to walk to the resort downhill and taxi back up. Puerto Rico as a resort is underinvested and frayed around the edges by neglect. It is pretty dismal really. But this apartment complex is cheerful and comfortable. Perfect for a fly and flop.

Un superbe hôtel Petit point négatif … trop de vis à vis sur les terrasses privatives et les piscines privées et si vos voisins sont bruyants … pas très agréable (le problème s’est posé durant le week-end) La literie pourrait être de meilleure qualité et un lit King seize serait TOP Vue magnifique et lieux très calme Que du bonheur !!!

Deilig luksus i nydelig leilighet

Fantastisk leilighet med nydelig utsikt. Gode senger og hyggelig betjening. En flaske cava ønsker oss velkommen, og Jaquzzi var ren og innbydende. Mulighet for å vaske, stryke og tørke klær i leiligheten. Treningsrom med utsikt over havna. Flott opphold, selv om det meste foregikk digitalt. Dama i resepsjonen ventet på oss for å registrere, selv om vi kunne ha gjort det digitalt. Flotte leiligheter, nydelig utsikt og god frokost. Anbefaler denne leiligheten på det sterkeste.

L'établissement (qui n'est pas un hotel comme cela vous est répété à l'arrivée) est moderne, bien équipé. AU sommet d'une colline donc vues magnifiques. Les appartements sont spacieux, bien équipés. Mais des faiblesses qui n'en font pas un 5 étoiles: petit dejeuner médiocre (produits de basse qualité, vous ne pouvez commander qu'un complément par personne), service de réception à distance qui limite les interactions, service de ménage très moyen (nous avions de très bonnes serviettes en début de séjour qui ont été remplacées par des serviettes presque usées), bref vous êtes livrés à vous même. Parking très limité alors que vous êtes au sommet de la colline et qu'une voiture est quasi indispensable.

Excellent séjour

A titre d'information pour vos choix et comparaisons, nous avions réserve une privilège suite. Il s'agit d'un magnifique complexe tout neuf, tout est nickel et tout confort avec un personnel très aimable et aux petits soins. Le buffet petit déjeuner est appétissant et varié, Jesse et son équipe de serveurs et chefs coq sont très sympathiques et serviables. Nous ne pouvons que recommander!!! A réserver sans hésitations. Points d'amélioration: - L'air conditionné semble peu efficace (en tous les cas dans notre appartement). - Pour un hôtel de ce standing il est dommage d'avoir de simples distributeurs de savon de basse qualité dans la salle de bain, ils pourraient être remplacés par de petites bouteilles individuelles ou du moins des distributeurs avec un savon de qualité. En espérant que ce commentaire puisses vous éclairer dans vos choix et aider l'hôtel a encore s'améliorer.
