“This place was very nice. It was pretty close to the entrance to the walled city. There were a few pretty good stairs to climb (with luggage). It was difficult to find. I'll leave a pic of what to look for. Before you get to the place, you'll see a sign that says "GULAS", but at the actual entrance, it is in Greek. The owner was there waiting for us (even though we were later than expected). I wish I had gone ahead and paid when we arrived, as she was not present when we were ready to...

“Appartement tout neuf très confortable et bien situé par rapport à la ville de Gefira et à la ville basse de Monemvassia. Accueil sympathique par Stéphanie. Quelques soucis avec la literie neuve semble-t-il mais très inconfortable à notre goût. Qulques équipements de cuisine classiques non disponibles : bouilloire, planche à pain, palette ... Rien de dramatique toutefois. Une bonne adresse .. ”

“This property within the walls of Monemvasia was beyond amazing. The character alone, proximity to the square and restaurants along with a private courtyard was beyond our expectations. Just a flight of stairs below is a swim area, so unique that you have to say you’ve done it! Be sure to direct message the property before you arrive, they will make sure to greet you and arrange a porter! The stairs are a lot so pack smart and light! We drove and got lucky with parking … but there isn’t a lot! ...

“Fantastic property, fast internet, good renovated room with kitchen amenities, onsite parking, good heating/cooling, some rooms with sea view, fantastic check-in staff, as well as other staff, just that as there is no lift, minimal big luggage is recommended.”

“I was there in December 2024. The owner and her family live upstais and that gives the property a plus of warmth! The room was nice and spacious with a little terrace. Very nice and quiet. Near Monemvaisa by foot. Near beaches. Beautiful mountains for hiking and rock climbing. Recommended ”
