We had a fantastic stay at Le Ragnaie in Montalcino! The location is great for accessing wineries and surrounding area. It was peaceful, scenic, and perfectly situated for exploring the region. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed, offering great comfort and charm. The pool was a highlight, especially after warm afternoons of wine tasting. The breakfasts provided were second to none as well. The staff - A+. Everything about the property was well cared for. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay at a lovely property. Stunning views of vinyards and Tuscan sunsets. Beautiful stone buildings with all the modern conveniences. Different room options from simple bedrooms to small apartments for a longer stay. Very helpful staff. Delicious buffet breakfast is included with lots of options from quiche to homemade breakfast cakes. It was cool when we were there so didn't have a chance to enjoy the nice pool but it looked inviting. Great location just 5 mnutes south of Montalcino so lots of dining options nearby. Many wineries as well for tastings. Great base to go visit many of the famous hilltop towns. Would definitely return on our next visit.

Gorgeous room and bathroom with a lovely patio just outside. Breakfast was outstanding - such a big selection of delicious things. Staff were all very friendly and helpful too. It would have been nice to have been able to buy more of the wines on Sunday when we arrived but we appreciated the complementary bottle. And salt and olive oil in the room kitchens would be a nice touch. But these are small quibbles. We are already planning a second visit, for two or more nights next time.
