"The hotel is Ok , but I was expecting more from a 5 star hotel. The service was not 5 star as several times the first answer was always NO , until a second person from the staff heard what was happening and came “for the rescue”. The furniture needs renovation, the sofas in the rooms and lobby look really old , the bed covers look extremely old and have to be changed, they give a really first bad impression the first time you enter the room. The breakfast is Ok but no so special for a 5 star hotel. The location is not bad , 15-20 minutes walk to the historic center where most of the life is . There are no many hotel options in Alghero but this is no reason for a “5 star” hotel not to excel."

"Just recommending staying at Alghero in bicicletta would do it an injustice. We were welcomed by the hosts as family and felt sad to leave. The room with air conditioning, mini fridge, shared microwave, en suite bathroom (powerful shower) and balcony were clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Thank you for the orientation to the area with useful suggestions on places to visit. We were treated like royalty during every breakfast so grateful for your approach to a sustainable and eco friendly living, especially encouraging us to take the leftovers from an overly generous and delicious breakfast, which often sustained us for lunch. Thank you we will certainly be back soon"
