The building and grounds are beautiful, the bar and restaurant are very good, and the staff is fantastic. The rooms are rudimentary in keeping with the colonial decor. You are essentially staying in a 500 year old structure, after all. But they are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are late 80s/early 90s style luxury, but well maintained and spotless. "
