Montefioralle, Greve in Chianti hotel rooms at the Accor Hotels

"We booked and paid for a double room but were given a one full-bed room instead, which was very disappointing. When we went back downstairs to address it, we were told there were no other rooms available and that this was simply what we would get. The shower was extremely small—so much so that even as a petite person, I couldn’t comfortably close the glass doors while showering. There was barely any space for our carry-ons, and surprisingly, no phone in the room to contact the front desk. The walls are paper-thin—we were woken up in the middle of the night by a neighboring guest being sick. The breakfast was also a letdown, with stale and old food. While the view was nice, it didn’t make up for the overall experience. To top it off, the front desk staff (particularly the main woman downstairs) was unhelpful and rude. Overall, not a stay I would recommend."

"From the outside this 4 star hotel does not look like what it is, a very nice and comfortable hotel. Friendly people at the reception. But, this hotel might have the best breakfast in Florence! Everything is handmade, none of the cheap crap in plastic you find many places in Italy. And the quality of what you get us amazing! And the staff are so dedicated. Highly recommended. "

"All of the staff we interacted with couldn’t have been more helpful. Front desk were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and booked them for us. Hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms were lovely. Although we didn’t eat in the hotel, the Angel Bar was lovely for pre/post dinner drinks "

"The breakfast room is so pretty, and the breakfast is truly excellent. The staff were friendly and professional and welcomed our little dogs. It was quiet even though it is right in the center of everything. The bed was very comfortable and all the linens were of excellent quality, i would definitely stay here again,"

"Wonderful, clean room with a balcony! Flexible checkin and checkout time. Perks mentioned in other reviews were all included, including one complimentary apertivo & 45 minutes in their small spa area. The spa was the only disappointment as the chemicals were so strong they burned our eyes and made us cough. But the spa is really not necessary to have a great stay. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options! The minibar with juices, water, snacks, coffee & teas refilled each day was a nice little extra."
