Just catched this satisfying lightened sundown at the beach
Montezuma Beach on New Year's Eve. #BeachBound
These are the Montezuma waterfalls-- and there are two more above this big one that you can jump off! Only a 20-30 minute hike up to the top. Be sure let a local show you the longer way around to hike to the 2nd and 3rd falls rather than climb up waterfall itself. To find them you just go behind the Mariposario bed and breakfast.
Once you're on the way, try to get to the right of the creek- there's a foot trail up the hill a little about 1/3 of the way in.

The staff and owners are amazing people. Very kind and courteous. The hotel is very relaxing and I felt right at home. The restaurant on site had excellent food. I will definitely stay again.

Beautiful villas with the most beautiful view. The pool is magical, the patio areas the perfect place to look out on the ocean. The villas themselves are large and comfortable. Kitchens had everything we needed to make a meal. Highly recommend.
