"Greeted at reception with a warm welcome, the room was really nice and quiet with adequate space and the bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The hotel is well situated in the town and there is a lovely roof top area with tables and chairs offering a great outdoor facility in the summer time to enjoy a drink from the bar. "

"Small boutique inn. Not a lot to do in area but nice walking paths, quiet area, lovely terrace and the restaurant on property was exceptional. Innkeeper was very nice as well as restaurant staff. Good selection of wine and beers. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony over looking pool, gardens, walking path along river inlet. I would not hesitate to stay here again. "

A Great hotel in the great town of Straubing

"Great hotel, right in the historical center, walking distance from the train station (with a backpack, not a suitcase, that is), taxi, bus, main museums and the cafe that makes and serves Agnes Bernauer torte. If arriving after 11pm, contact the hotel beforehand and the arrangements will be made. Make sure you have breakfast included!"
