“I was not allowed to check in and ended up sleping in the parking lot in my car. The reason being that Expedia did not forward payment to the property according to the property management. Horrible experience ”

“House keeping was awful. Accommodation was dirty, smelly and not aired. Fire left dirty from previous guests. Washing up sponge was soooo old it was discussing and unbelievable. Breakfast food was very poor, cheap unhealthy food. Dinner option was a choice of 2 meals. No wine list, just one red wine offered. Staff were friendly, but not trained. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Setting is good. ”

“We unfortunately stayed for just one night on Thursday, 23 October 2025, on our way back to Joburg, but it was a truly perfect experience, just as we had hoped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is beautiful, safe, and enveloped by a lovely forest. “The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. ”
