Top Mortain Hotel Reviews

Campanile Vire
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, great staff, nice location with our room overlooking a green and tree area. Very quiet - just what we wanted for 1 night."

Château La Rametière
10/10 Excellent
"I am writing this review as we are driving away, and I’m sad to be leaving! We only stayed one night and it was far too short. This was the mid-way point in our France trip (fantastic location for visiting Mont Saint Michel), and our one peaceful night in between city-center stays. It was amazing in every sense. The grounds and chateau are meticulously kept and just beautiful. The breakfast (made up of items you self-select upon check in) was abundant and delicious. We stayed in the triple room and it was incredibly spacious, including a huge bathroom with a spacious shower and amazing jetted tub. The hospitality was also unmatched and greatly appreciated. We loved sitting in the grand salon reading and playing cards before check out this morning. We all left feeling full of peace and gratitude. I have no doubt this will be our favorite stay during our trip. Thank you so much!"

Ducey Appart'hôtel
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing property. Modern and comfortable, conveniently located for day trips in the area. Just a note for the host, we stayed on a particularly hot day and the property could benefit from an aircondition."

Logis Auberge de la Sélune
10/10 Excellent
"Our one-week holiday at Auberge de la Sélune was absolutely perfect. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. A true highlight of the property is the beautiful garden, which is the perfect spot to unwind. Patrice and Sandra are fantastic hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a perfect, quiet location that serves as an ideal base for exploring by car or bike during the day, while offering total relaxation in the evening. Thanks to wonderful personal suggestions from Patrice, we were able to easily explore the best of both Normandy and Brittany, including an unforgettable visit to the nearby Mont Saint-Michel. The culinary experience here was a major highlight of our trip. Every single meal at the restaurant was exceptional, showcasing fresh local ingredients and incredible flavours. The service was attentive, warm, and perfectly complemented the wonderful food. Auberge de la Sélune and its restaurant do not just offer a stay, they offer a truly unforgettable experience. It is a flawless combination of excellent accommodation, beautiful surroundings, and top-tier dining. We highly recommend this gem and cannot wait to return!"

Logis Hôtel Restaurant Le Fruitier
10/10 Excellent
"Pas d’air climatisé , mais très belle chambre"

Hôtel Les 13 Assiettes
10/10 Excellent
"Accommodation is in little semi detached cottages in the gardens, which is very charming Bed very comfortable, breakfast very good and evening meal fine Only downside was having to use a tablet to read the restaurant carte. Fine for those aged 15 and under but at my age these things get difficult Heater in the bathroom was a bit rusty, which took the edge off a gorgeously refurbished hotel We shall visit again, now that I know to head for Pontabault rather than Val St Pere"

Best Western Le Moulin De Ducey
8/10 Good
"A lovely hotel as a stopover - old building but modern inside. Generic hotel decor so not much character. Small outside space with tables. Free parking with EV charge points, although these were not working during our stay. Staff were great as we’d left some items behind, which they looked after until we were able to pick them up."

hotelF1 Avranches Baie du Mont Saint Michel
8/10 Good
"This is a one star ⭐ hotel. Across the parking lot is Ibis' 3 star sister hotel It's about one or two steps above a hostel. I paid 35 Euros. Did I get a fair deal, Yes."

Hôtel Saint-Pierre
8/10 Good
"A lovely friendly stay hotel is showing its age somewhat but rooms have all you need. No lift and narrow stairs and corridors but part of its charm! Brasserie and separate breakfast room downstairs."
