“The hotel is good. Rooms are a bit dated but have comfortable beds. The view of the Reichsburg Cochem is amazing from the balcony. Breakfast was good, the only thing lacking is fresh fruit options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Be aware that there are no elevators,so you have to carry your suitcase up flights of stairs. Staff will do this for you if you would like, it may take a bit but they will bring it”

“Beautiful location, very clean room. Great view of the Moselle river and the surrounding spectacular landscape. Great dining and breakfast. Unfortunately we did not dine at the nicely set up white-linen Restaurant except breakfast. We were unaware (or did not read the fine prints) that we should have called ahead if we are arriving after 6 PM on the first night of check-in. We arrived late due to late start from Frankfurt. But the owners were kind enough to check us in. The only major draw back...

“What a wonderful property- beautiful, clean and good location. Christiana was lovely and welcoming. Our room was large, especially by European standards, with a gorgeous bathroom - very luxurious. The breakfast was beautifully displayed, included many special foods we’ve not encountered at other hotels and was delicious. The plentiful free parking made this stay easy and quite a value. “What a fabulous place to stay, away from the hustle bustle but comfortably walking distance to the town, amazing view, amazing staff, amazing selection of local wines and a good breakfast, if I am ever back in Cochem (certainly will be) there is no question of where we are staying, Hotel Vie Villa, loved it.”
