This place is gorgeous! Staff is amazing, beautiful rooms, great food. Trust the process of getting there. The road in is a little discouraging, but you’ll be so happy when you arrive. Highly recommend for a nearby airport stay.

Convenient and Scenic

Very convenient start before a flight from Kilimanjaro airport. Lovely property with very helpful and friendly staff. Food was very good. Courtesy airport lift provided, about 25 minutes away. The lodge is reached down a very long dirt road after passing through a village - remote but comfortable.

Not as close to the airport as I thought. Taxi from airport to lodge takes about 20 mins along a dusty unpaved road. But hotel itself is very nice and you can see Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Staff very friendly and helpful. A lot of international tourists stay here

The staff is all very nice but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The room is essentially a concrete block. It has AC which is a plus but it doesn’t work very well. Definitely not worth the money.

I was pleasantly surprised finding such a beautiful and clean hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The fare included a full dinner. The food was great and the service very professional. The hotel drove me to the airport at 2:30 am. I definitely recommend this place.

AVOID at all Costs!

I traveled for 26 hours, landed in Africa at 11pm and was told that this hotel was booked. I showed them my receipt, showing my confirmation and they still did not care. They gave my room away and the rude woman at the front desk repeatedly just said "we are full, we are booked" leaving my stranded to find a new place to stay at nearly midnight. Don't stay here, it's not worth it.

Close to JRO. Clean and friendly.

Our family of four had a great stay although it was just one night. Not far from Kilimanjaro airport. A great breakfast was included and the staff was very friendly.
