"We enjoyed our stay at the Charles. Our room was fairly comfortable. Would have preferred a different bathroom set up. (the sink was outside the bathroom and jammed into a nook near the door). The shower head was very low for my husband but fine for me. The snacks and wine in the afternoon were a very nice touch, along with the freshly baked cookies in the evening. The continental breakfast was fine, would have been nice to mix up the offerings a bit. Overall it was a nice place to stay, good location. An easy walk to our favorite restaurant La Mia Cucina. ( and many other restaurants in addition to the waterfront). We love Pacific Grove."
