"This motel is lovely. The rooms are spacious with excellent cooking amenities. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Quiet at night with blackout blinds as well. Friendly staff at check in. Absolutely no complaints!"

"It was a quiet place with great views away from the hustle and bustle. Didn’t hear any helicopters! Angela and staff were friendly and helpful to make our stay very pleasant. The continental breakfast was very pleasant with a coffee machine with various choices, teas, juice and cereals and yogurt. Small platter of ham, cheese and hard boiled eggs was offered along with a small pastry. A great place to stay for a couple of days. "

"You get what you pay for and I couldn't complain as we were a late booking. We had everything we needed, comfortable bed, hot shower and private bathroom. Jesus (spanish manager) did all he could to accomodate us. If you want 5 star and want to pay 4 times the price stay elsewhere but this was very suitable for us, no complaints here 😊"

"Clean and tidy motel room in a great central location for the (albeit limited) shops and restaurants in Franz Joseph town. Handy parking right outside room. Room had a hob, kettle, toaster and a microwave. More importantly, it had a teapot!"

"Good spot for a couple of nights to break up a long journey. Very clean room, huge bathroom and great facilites/kitchen. Out of hours check in was made very easy too. I would definitely recommend staying here"

"Clean lodge, easy parking, basic kitchen but shared kitchen available next to lodge. We chose to make breakfast and packed lunches and the ate out in the evening. Intermittent WiFi but acceptable. Nice and warm and convenient location for a couple of nights. Quiet location close to the main Street, Cook and Saddle and Betty Jackson’s excellent for evening meal with teens. Added bonus was the glow worm tour from the lodge, very enjoyable."
