"Our room was really clean and pretty well kept up, beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff was really helpful. The hotel is 10 minutes easy walking distance from the main street in town, near a grocery store and gas station. Parking was plentiful, which is really important to have in Bar Harbor since parking in town is impossibly crowded. I would recommend this hotel!"
"Terramor Outdoor Resort delivered a standout first glamping experience: spacious canvas tents with fresh‑air flow and private bathrooms, tucked into a secluded spot that kept our screened porch completely private for cozy evenings in a chair under a blanket. The pool was impeccably maintained and a hit with the kids—though it becomes adults‑only from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.—and while the hot tub is officially “no kids,” the rule isn’t always enforced. On several evenings a s’mores station at 8 p.m. drew the children out of the water, adding a fun camp‑fire feel. The front desk lends hiking poles and binoculars for free, and its modest shop stocks trail mix, jerky, insect repellent and other basics, sparing a trip into Bar Harbor. Breakfast is modest (mostly cold fare, plus hot oatmeal I topped with fresh blueberries) and opens at 7 a.m.; on a rushed morning we arrived at 6:40 a.m. for a 7:30 a.m. Cadillac Mountain reservation, and the manager kindly let us in early for cereal, milk and coffee. Situated just a short drive—or a free shuttle—from Acadia National Park, Terramor offers the tranquility of a wooded retreat with easy park access, making it a solid and luxurious glamping stay."
Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor - Acadia Natl Park by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay. The whole place was clean and enjoyable. The hot tip was great after a day of long hikes. The staff were friendly and helpful."
"Beautiful view of the harbour and a great price. The shuttle bus to town stopped right at our hotel so it made travel super easy. Would definitely stay here again."
"Clean, walking distance to restaurants and shops downtown, and close to entrances for Acadia National Park. Lobby is kept stocked with drinks and snacks. Great stay."
"I can’t say there wasn’t much not to like
Christopher and Rebecca were awesome
They’re grab & go breakfast was perfect and they even offered gluten-free options
The room we had was very nice and clean with our own private little balcony to relax"
"Great place to stay. Right on the strip. No need to uber anywhere plus having the parking was great considering no parking anywhere because the town is so busy. Definitely recommend walking a few blocks to Ivy Manor in the evening and relax on the Adirondacks and have drinks. It’s definitely not a five star resort. It’s a converted redone motel but perfect. The rooms were super clean. The bed was super comfortable. Perfect place to stay if you want to just go barhopping and eat."
"Well located hotel just a few minutes drive from the Acadia Park entrance and Bar Harbor. Walk to a couple of restaurants and mini golf. Large comfortable room and bathroom. Lovely outdoor pool. Breakfast was ok but the same every day and very busy. On site laundry was useful. Very well kept grounds."
"The beds were comfortable, the location was great, the food was good. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, but there wasn't enough staff. Most times we needed help, there was a lengthy wait for assistance, either because staff was away from the desk or because they were assisting other guests, but they were always helpful and accommodating! Laundry machines worked but required help from staff because they hadnt been maintained."
