“Beautiful location between beside rivers with view of Mt Ruapehu (cloud permitting). Hosts were very welcoming and gave friendly advice about local walks. We did the Mangawhero Forest Walk which took around an hour along well maintained trails through stunning forest, recommended. For dinner we did a nice walk through forest to town centre takes about 15 mins. We came back via roads after dark. Room was quiet and comfortable with outdoor terrace and hot tub. “We had a lovely stay here, the unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our only problem was the single bunk beds which were very noisy and squeaky and the springs were too soft- one of our group got their hair caught in the springs. Otherwise the unit was great. ”
