"We loved our stay here, the rooms are a good size, the garden areas are well maintained as is the swimming pool. The breakfast and other food/drink options are great and the staff helpful, competent and cheerful. it’s about a ten minutes drive from San Jose Del Sur ferry port and you will need a bike or atv as it is quite remote, located down a few unmade tracks, backing onto the lake. A lovely peaceful spot and a great place to return to after a day out on the island."

"The family who owns this budget no frills hotel gave us outstanding treatment from beginning to end. Of course on an island there are many insects so we used nets above the beds. The room is simple, without AC but there are several fans which helped cool us off at night. Our breakfast & dinner were delicious between fruits & pancakes (which owner woke up early to prepare at 5am on day of Concepcion Volcano climb), fish & vegetables, chicken with rice & beans.
